1. Breast Screening
This is done on an asymptomatic basis (no sign of changes) free of charge for women who are aged 45-69 years at Breast Screen Aotearoa.

2. Diagnostic Mammography
This is done when there are symptoms and referred by a General Practitioner.
This can also lead to ultrasound, fine needle biopsy and core biopsy.
